I am just another self taught DIY dev, seeking his way out of state controlled, Vendor-locked, centralized governance models for published or computing resources.
At the same time I am slightly biased against the blockchain trust by social consensus, based on paritcipation which depends on politically aggregated means than merit, in contrast to the trust through signature verification despite both depending on hashing.

On Programming
OOP is almost a second language for the working class here, but that wasn’t my kickstart. I was just another marginally employed moddle class knowledge worker, seeking ways to continue learning higher math, if not physics, despite lacking the required liberty to dedicate sufficient part of what I could access to it. when I stumbled at this `proofs re prgrams` thing, only to realise that even that requires a ton of tooling before I get started and I was on ubuntu (sighs), without sufficient theoretical background, but in some wird turn of events my curiosity for it persisted, and I did ened up making reasoable, if not contonuous progress.
Here is my ever expanding programming projects TODO list, managed with Emacs and org mode .
Preferred Foss
- Federated git, messengers and social media.
- Self host, iff you can protect, what you want to or the data itself is not yours , eg Freshrss with configured password. Serve if you can maintain the server.
- GPG or keybase.
On the Nation State
Over the years it became increasingly clear to me that the purpose of the constitution of a somewhat independent state of any political stability is to maintain a demographic order and dividend, by any means and the romanticism about it as means to social or individual justice is impractical and unproductive.
Therefore, state has no reasonable say, in dictating how an individual chooses to live or not. It may however restrict or contain that, iff it’s a proven danger to the purpose above
I have learned to value my commitment my routine and resources for the day, above nearly anything. A part of which is essentially eaten by software as a utility to do nearly anything. I mean one ought to code even to read write and bookmark.
